We will update you soon on more information.
Need a Hand?
After a guest appearance in “Wake Up Don Quixote” performed by the Actability Theatre Company, Handy Andy and his Brother Finger Pie are looking for more artistic work….any work actually…
Wake Up Don Quixote
Actability Inclusive Theatre Company created an innovative and inspirational experience for children based on Cervantes famous book Don Quixote, with Giant Puppets, Dance, music and film. Wake up Don Quixote is Actability's most ambitious and engaging piece to date. Following workshops in schools in May 2011 this fascinating show embarked on a tour of theatres in autumn 2011 and is to tour nationally in spring 2012. Following on from the highly successful multimedia experience Rumbling Tummy, Wake up Don Quixote is a spectacular look into a world of dreams and fantasy with a touch of comedy and a large input of magic!
Vision4Arts would like to thank Actability Inclusive for involving us in such a great project!
Animation Workshops at Rhodes Arts Centre
Vision4Arts provided Animation workshops to a group of young people living in Bishop’s Stortford. It was a great day of animating, pixilating and all that good fun.
Wow Story
Working with Theatre Lalek we created a unique and stimulating piece of work involving new media alongside traditional performance. Wow Story is an interactive, bilingual, theatre production that makes great use of new media and gaming technology. Using physical theatre techniques, live music, dance and object animation coupled with an audience interactive virtual environment we provided an extraordinary experience for people of all ages. Part of this project involves the creation of an additional element in the form of an accompanying video game. The game combined all the themes and characters that were involved in the performance and added new stories to explore the world created in the show, expanding its life far beyond the performance itself. We will keep working on this project in 2012.
Shopping Lady
Another great project with: Theatre Lalek.
The tale of the 6 foot giant Shopping lady and her oversized know-it-all talking shopping trolley, who loves nothing more than to shop, gossip, and have evening tea.
This great street performance act entertained audiences of every age, but then what do you expect from a giant Sopping Lady and her know-it-all talking shopping- trolley.
Polish Connections
Stan Forczek, Vision4Arts co-founder and Creative Director was invited to help produce a Documentary film called “Polish Connections”, with Colchester based organization-Signals.
The project was funded by the Heritage Foundation to help and support young Polish people in creating a 30 minute professional documentary film about the first wave of Polish migrants after WW II. Stan, as a media tutor and producer assistant was responsible for training young people in filmmaking and thereafter assisting in the production of the film.
Working with Theatre Lalek, a Polish-English Theatre Company based in London, Vision 4Arts delivered giant Puppetry workshops to young people from Braintree. During weekly workshop sessions participants created 3 oversized puppets that took part in several festivals in England and Poland. Aiko, Aliou and Hubert, three giants from Braintree entertained people during the Basildon Festival, Southend On Sea Carnival, Polish Arts festival and Festival Teatrow Ulicznych in Poland. “It was great fun and a excellent experience for me” said 14 year old Patryk Kolakowski student from Alec Hunter School in Braintree. “I hope to work on more creative projects in the future and become a set designer. It was a fascinating and exciting project…”
Multi City – Forum Theatre Project
Using improvisation workshops and Forum Theatre, Vision4Arts with student’s studying performing arts at Braintree College developed a theatre performance called “Multi City”. England is one of the most culturally diverse countries; this is great for many reasons. However this can be problematic. '‘Multi City’’, the performance we are working on explores the cultural and ethnical impact on mental health issues with people living in United Kingdom, the differences in culture that affect people’s relations. We will be using physical theatre techniques known from such great names like DV8 and the Kneehigh Theatre. The performance analyses human mentality, looking for explanations to problems faced by protagonists. Question on how to keep our individuality but also integrate with other communities. Do we see the world as it is or do we create our own, sometimes, very dangerous universe? The aim of the show is to raise awareness of the mental health issues, when ethnic and culture differences get between people's judgment. The performance is also about the worries and dreams of the multicultural city”.... Multi City received a lot of positive feedback from participants and audiences that came to see the final showcase. The project explored mental health wellbeing and how tensions between communities affect BME groups in Essex. Very constructive feedback helped us to develop new ideas and ways to express the issues mentioned above through theatrical performance.
The project was supported by Essex County Council, Small Grants Scheme.
Actability Inclusive Theatre Company - Rumbling Tommy
Stan took part as a Technical Director to produce an Inclusive performance, Rumbling Tommy. He also was honored to play a rather fat Chef, fitting the role perfectly ;)
This touring performance was seen by young audiences in Essex, Hertfordshire and London.
…”And so, my friends to the final week of the Arts Council phase of the project. For this week we were at Amwell View School. We have been here many times before and it is a place and a group of people that we have a great relationship with. We worked with a wide variety of students and teaching staff and we had a fantastic time creating new parts of the show and involving students”…(more)
Global Gala Festival - Giant Puppets, Lajkonik, La Roma, Breakers……
Thanks to Explore Culture: One World Festival organizers, Vision4Arts took part in the Global Gala Festival in 2010. It was an incredibly multicultural event on which we prepared giant puppets, Lajkonik (traditional Polish hobby horse from Krakow), managed Polish and Romany cultural tents and organized music bands.

Our intention is to empower people, giving them control to present their opinions and creative ideas.

The workshops are extremely hands on and help to educate and make the process of learning more enjoyable. All of our workshops are lead by professionally trained instructors, bringing industry expertise to the process.
Through our workshops participants get the chance to write scripts, make models, and animate characters, showcase performances, design clothes and much more. The workshop contains a range of benefits including planning and communication skills, developing team work and building self-confidence. The workshop also introduces new technical media skills through working with digital media, including cameras and ICT equipment.
Summer Time Workshops
We also have a wide variety of different workshop available to book. These are five-day workshops, which offer you the chance to become better in the art of your choice! These courses teach you the essentials of animation techniques that will enable you to continue to produce art work on your own and allow you to easily branch out into other forms and techniques.
These summer schools are a great resource for creating professional quality films to add to your portfolio when applying to Universities and Colleges.
The techniques and knowledge you will gain will give you a tremendous advantage for pursuing any career path in arts and media.
These days are run by professional artists who have all learnt, love and teach industry standard levels. For more information and a booking form please contact us on info@vision4arts.co.uk
Our workshops provide a positive, constructive experience, giving participants a real sense of achievement. We always try to organise a screening of films for families and friends where possible, and every student is sent a copy of their film on DVD.
Teacher Training
We are happy to come into both Primary and Secondary schools to give specialist teacher training courses for all members of staff. No previous experience will be required. The course includes instruction on how to use game making software, produce games, and simple applications. This is a great way to introduce the use of arts and media within the curriculum. All equipment and materials will be provided.
Team Building
Would your organisation or group like a day of making your very own game? We can offer a team-building day that delivers the chance to learn new skills as well as being a fun activity. The day can be hosted at our studio in Braintree or we can come to you!
School Promos
Vision4Arts offer the service of creating a promotional film, animation or game for your school. A promotional film or game can be used on your website, used in your promotions and presentations to give potential pupils and their families an insight into your school.

We will interview staff, teachers, parents and other members of the school community to obtain voice over’s and information you would like given.
Finally the team will record footage in and around the school that will be the basis of the film and show off the credentials that the school wishes or design application or game that suite your needs.
